Electronic Pet Doors
Most owners want an electronic pet door to allow access for only their pets. Some pet owners use electronic doors to allow the dog access outside, yet keep the cat indoors. This may work with a shy cat. I have seen bolder cats learn to run out of automatic dog doors under the feet of dogs. If your want your dog to have his own door and still protect your cat, we recommend using a small Invisible Fence system for the cat. This way we can guarantee your cat will not escape outdoors. Electronic doors do not necessarily provide a higher level of home security than a quality flap door.
